The Studio Spiky S is the compact Studio version of OMITSUTA’s signature sculptural Spiky bag, bringing the Original design into small-series production.
Starting from a flat fabric, each piece goes through several stages of folding, binding and permanent pleating using the Tegumo Shibori technique, transforming the surface into its distinctive three-dimensional Spiky texture. Traces of the folds and threads remain visible on the fabric, subtle marks of the process behind each piece.
Compact but surprisingly spacious, the S comfortably fits your everyday essentials, including a 600 ml bottle. Extra lightweight and designed for everyday wear, the S features an adjustable pleated strap and can be worn over the shoulder or crossbody.
The inner lining helps maintain the bag’s sculptural shape while carrying your everyday essentials and includes a practical inside pocket. Finished with a YKK metal zip.
Made from 100% polyester to permanently hold the pleated texture while remaining extra lightweight and easy to care for.
Cold washable at max. 30°C.
