Handcrafted using the ancient Japanese technique of arashi shibori, this bag features organic, flowing pleats inspired by the serene beauty of karesansui (Japanese dry landscape gardens). Each pleat evokes the peaceful movement of water, transforming your bag into a one-of-a-kind work of art.
Crafted from 100% polyester, the Arashi Pleats S bag has a matte exterior and a satin interior. The polyester fabric ensures the shibori process is permanent, with the pleats embedded in the fiber, making the bag machine washable (cold). It features a functional pocket and a high-quality YKK zipper for durability and convenience.
The adjustable strap is designed with a loop on one side and a strap on the other, allowing you to create a custom fit by tying a simple knot. The strap length measures up to 57 cm with a classic knot and loop configuration. Please note, each bag is unique, and measurements may vary slightly due to the handmade shibori process.
The S size is best suited for hand or shoulder wear and may not be ideal for crossbody use due to its smaller strap length. If you’re looking for a crossbody option, I recommend going for the XL version.
